Easily Add Delicate Piping To Any Garment Project. Use the PFAFF Narrow Piping foot to cover 1mm cords with fabric or insert packaged piping into seams or edges for a tailored finish. Excellent for for home decor projects, fashion projects or wherever you’d like to add a finishing touch.

Machine Compatibility: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, J, K, L

Part Number: PFA 820918096

Instructions:

  1. Snap on the Narrow Piping Foot.
  2. Cut bias or crosswise grain strips, wide enough to cover the cording plus seam allowances.
  3. Lay the cording on the wrong side of the fabric strip and wrap the fabric over the cord.
  4. Place the fabric and cord under the Narrow Piping Foot with the cord in the groove on the underside of the foot.
  5. Sew with a straight stitch, length 2.5. The groove will guide the cord so the fabric covers it evenly.
  6. Use your new piping in projects, following the steps above.

TIP: When you sew this piping into a garment, adjust the needle position so it stitches one setting closer to the cord to cover the first stitching.
