Stitch a designer tote with cork fabric accents on base and up sides, pockets, and strap connectors. There are 2 outside pockets, an inside hidden welt pocket and an inside slip pocket with magnetic snap closure. Add hardware to make attached or removable handles and adjustable strap with cork fabric or webbing. Finished Size: Approximately 11.5" H X 12.5" W X 5" D

- Sewing Machine in good working order and knowledge of the machine, power cord, foot controller, manual and accessories (zipper foot, Teflon foot).
- Main Fabric (batik, quilt weight cotton) – exterior and pockets 42” wide – 3/4 yard.
- Lining Fabric (batik, quilt weight cotton) – interior and pockets 42” wide – 1 yard (NOTE: can be directional widthwise, but not lengthwise)
- Contrast (Cork) Fabric – base and up sides, connectors, exterior side pocket accents, handles, adjustable strap. 25”-27” wide cork fabric – 1/2 yard
- OR Contrast non-woven Fabric –
- 25”-27” wide fabric – ¼ yard (for base and up sides, connectors, exterior side pocket accents)
- webbing for carry handles (2) 1” x 25”-27”, adjustable strap (1” x 1.5 yards)
- Sew-In Foam – like by Annie Soft and Stable, bosal In-R-Form or Pellon Flex Foam FF77 – 18” by 30”
- Fusible Woven Interfacing –like Pellon SF101 – if 20” wide – 1 yard
- Fusible Fleece or Batting – like Pellon 987F or warm & natural – if 20” wide – ¼ yard
- Heavy Stabilizer – like Pellon Peltex 71F – if 20” wide – 1/8 yard

Helpful Notions: 40wt. polyester thread to match cork, main fabric, and lining, 90/14 (microtex, topstitch or universal) needle, sewing clips, pins, chalk or removable marking pen, basting spray, basting tape or glue, stiletto, zipper foot, Teflon foot, scissors, cutting mat, rotary cutter and ruler.

Class Cancellation Policy
To reserve a seat, all Pocono Sew & Vac classes must be paid in full upon registration. In the event that a student needs to cancel their reservation for a class, they should notify PS&V at least 7 days in advance (by phone) to be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before class will not be issued a refund.
If a class does not have the minimum number of participants 7 days prior to class day, the teacher will cancel class. The customer will be fully refunded within 7 to 10 business days. Any questions call PS&V at 800-442-8227.
Some classes require homework to be done before class, such as cutting/prepping fabrics. If homework is required, it will be posted in the class description. Please read the class description thoroughly before signing up before a class. If homework is not done by the start of class, you will not be able to attend, and a refund will not be issued.
